The 7th International 500 Miles Race on Saturday 21st September 1935.

    1st - John Cobb / Tim Rose-Richards - Napier-Railton 24-litre
    2nd - Percy McLure / Von der Becke - Riley 2-litre
    3rd - Earl Howe / Hon. Brian Lewis - Bugatti 3.3-litre

John Cobb's face was cut by a piece of flying concrete thrown up from the track's surface (which started breaking up soon after it was laid in 1907!).
