M/S shows a religious ceremony where Reverend Father J Flanagan blesses over a boy scout troop flag spread across some drums by sprinkling holy water over it. Numerous boy scouts, an altar boy, another clergyman and some civilians stand around him. After the blessing the boys put their hats back on.
A boy scout enters and kneels down while the priest put the flag pole into a little carrier he wears over his torso, then gets up and walks off. M/S of a line of scouts standing to attention with sticks. The priest talks to the scouts from his altar table. M/S of the line of scouts taking of their hats in a cheer of 'Hip hip hooray!'.
