Some relax with cards, others on alert. Troops walk between trenches. Officers review maps. Soldier fires a Thompson sub-machine gun. CU note pad with V = Vittoria written on it. Captured German tank. Various shots of troops moving across desert towards smoke on horizon. Looks like an enemy position has been shelled. Soldiers load and fire artillery piece.
