    Soda water bottling plant, 1920s or early 1930s. Commentary throughout (on rather fuzzy soundtrack).

    Commentator starts by introducing "The girl in the iron mask... a reminder to Buy British". CU smiling young woman wearing protective headgear - a mesh screen that bends round her head. The woman working at machine which fills siphons. Crate beside her is labelled 'Schweppes'.

    CU clear liquid bubbling in glass globes. Commentator explains how soda water is produced. CU more bubbling in a cylinder attached to another machine. Another woman loading empty soda bottles into machine. CU filling machine squirting soda water into bottles. CU bottle caps put on by another machine. Yet another glues on labels. CU label machine. ECU bottles going through rollers which press labels round the bottles.

    CU of the 'lady in the iron mask' again.

    Commentator says "Well, I'm off to have one, with soda! Cheerio!".

    This clip currently has the rather wide date range of 1920-39. However the clip has a soundtrack, and given that sound didn't reach moving pictures until 1927, the clip can at the very least be reduced to 1927-39. (In all reality, it's likely to be 1930-39).
