Life sized model dinosaurs are posed in the gardens of Crystal Palace.
"Come to think of it, our ancestors had a pretty rapid time about a million years ago - Fancy meeting a gentle Iguanodon..."
L/S of man walking through grounds of Crystal Palace towards a model of a large dinosaur. "Or his pals, Megalosaurus, Plesiosaurus and Co., - all eager for business....." Scenic shot of a pond, with dinosaurs posed on the banks. People walk to the edge of the pond to look at the models. "Mr. Meg - and - the -rest would certainly be a novel stable companion." Children run up to the dinosaur and sit beside it and on its foot.
"Novel, dear reader, because from end to end he measured 37 feet, and was 23 feet round the body...." Another shot of the children and dinosaur as they clamber all over it (the boys wear school uniform). "The Teleosaurus was also a nice little fellow. He used to roam around Whitby (how they must miss him)..." L/S of schoolboy sitting on top of a crocodile-like dinosaur model. M/S of boy with his head inside jaws of another strange creature. (Quite cute!) "So, when anyone speaks of those "good old days" dear reader, just ask how old...."
