An athletics meet for girls who work in laundries.
Stamford Bridge, London. "When it comes to Beauty Parades, the Laundry girls don't intend to be left in the basket - they're in the van."

"And when it comes to speed, the girls of the Great White Way, are as fast as any Eve - (on the track, of course!)" Girls get on their marks for a running race. L/S of the race from behind the finishing line, girls run towards the camera. C/U of some of the girls relaxing after one of the races. Other races are seen, other girls seen relaxing. A girl is seen breaking through the winning tape at the end of a race.
"The only bit of trouble came when the girls tried Adam's dressing race - (How can Adam wear such things?)" Girls run towards the camera and start to put on mens trousers and jackets. They then run off.
