    A Radio Telephone operator speaks to Bombay, India and introduces Sir Samuel Hoare, Secretary of State for India who wishes to speak to the Governor. The voice at the other end replies that Sir Frederick Sykes is waiting.

    Sir Samuel Hoare inaugurates the Service by speaking to Sykes in Bombay. Closer shot of Hoare as he speaks. He notes that a few minutes talk can clear up problems that can look very black. We hear the Governor reply. Shots of men working radio machinery. The tow operators sign off.
