Hugh Rene, wearing white tie and tails, sits at the grand piano and plays a classical flourish. He gets up and says to camera "That's enough of that rubbish anyhow!", then introduces his song, 'My Idea of a Girl'.
He plays the piano and performs his humorous song - speaking rather than singing. In it he takes the viewpoint of an upper-crust toff, a parson and a cockney costermonger on what their ideal girl would be like.
