All nonsense. Place is Gothenburg , Sweden, year 1943. Chief "dignitary" is count Folke Bernadotte, head of Swedish Red Cross, murdered in Palestine 1948 by the Irgun gang, as the chief UN mediator. Woman is Crown princess Louise of Sweden, nee Mountbatten and sister of lord Louis Mountbatten.

Mats Laurin, Sweden (I lived nearby and watched this scene frpm a distance as a 6-year old).

Private John Leslie Siviter (RAMC - 7859193) was cutting hair for most of the trip home so that returning prisoners could look their best on arrival at Leith, Edinburgh. (see 1.34 min). He retired from barbering in 2008, aged 90 and is looking forward to his 96th birthday later this year.
