  • Short Summary

Gliders used to transport the American troops.

  • Description

    Location Unknown / Unclear.

Several shots of aircraft in flight. American Horsa glider crash landing in water. Several shots of gliders on the airfield being towed by DC 3 planes. Several shots of the American army men advancing through water and woods. Several shots of a glider landing on dry land, troops running out and take positions. More shots of the gliders in flight and as they land on field, cloud of dust is seen as glider slides along the field.

Note; apparently an American WACO CG-4A glider is wrongly described as a Horsa.

All the gliders in this clip are Waco CG4a US built gliders.
    Not UK Airspeed Horsa
