    M/S as buses and trucks carrying the Home Guard draw up at Bisley. Various shots as the men get out. Various shots as they stand together then march to the firing range. C/U's of the older men. M/S's of ammunition being weighed. Various shots as they fire on the ranges whilst N.C.O.'s take note. Various shots as targets are changed.

    C/U of Sergeant Downs who was awarded medals for previous acts of bravery. Various shots of the other men. M/S of bus driving along, the narrator says a whole unit of the Home Guard was formed from transport workers. M/S of a bus driving past bombed out buildings, the camera pans up St. Paul's cathedral behind. M/S of Home Guard man driving a bus. Various shots as the men march down the road.
