M/S of Mary and her new husband, Able Seaman James Douglas leaving the church. A little girl presents Mary with a lucky charm horse shoe. There then follows are series of post-wedding traditional customs: a crowd watches as the bride leaps over a small rock ("the petting stone"), several men then fire rifles over the happy couple, they then walk through town scattering coppers for local children, finally plate with a piece of wedding cake is broken above the brides' head.
