    My uncle served on the Hawkins at this time. I can't see him in the clips, but he left an amazing diary of life on ship, and lots of photos of too.

    My father was serving on HMS Hawkins throughout the war.He brought some framed pictures home from Rio. The background of the pictures was made from wings of Colourful butterflies
