    World War One. Ceremonies; parades; British. Battle flags of H.M.S. Chester deposited with military honours; civilians watch march down street. Shot of officers - Army and Navy - walking toward camera; past row of sailors in street; women etc. standing behind on walk next to tall (3-4 storey) buildings. Front man; an Army officer with cane stops and talks to one of the sailors. They continue toward camera; CU as they go by. Among the military men is mayor in robes; chain. Same place. Sailors; then soldiers; march 5 abreast down street as crowd of civilians watch.
