C/U Able Seaman Emslie R.N. who received the George Medal. C/Us of police constables Bass, Douglas, Davison and Johnson of Balham Division who received the George Medal. Johnson is seen with his wife and baby son Roger. Various C/Us of ARP (Air Raid Precautions) Warden Hollingdale, Busman Price, River Firemen Melvin and Muir, Nurse Newman, Nurse Perkins, Miss Bick and Buster Cain, all of whom received the George Medal. Bick and Cain are both teenagers and the youngest holders of the medal.
