A plain hat can be adapted in various ways with accessories such as feathers or ribbons.
C/U of model holding a plain felt hat which she puts on. With the assistance of another lady she shows how it can be adapted in various ways. Firstly a long feather is put in the brim. This is taken out and the band taken off and replaced with another of a different colour with a bow at the front. The hat is then set back on the head with the brim turned up and a ribbon is attached to tie under the chin. Smaller bird feathers are attached to turned up brim at the side. A veil is draped over a turned up brim and tied under the chin. M/S of the model showing it off.
