Ladies modelling swimwear (beauty competition), girls dancing, ballroom dancing, funky singer singing upbeat song, black & white shots of feet dancing, still of lines of tables by dancefloor. Interview with Victor Silvester (?) Interview with Len Colyer (Ex-Sixpenny Partner) talking about women's varied ability. Shot of dancing during the war (WWII). Colour shot of Jazz band and packed dance floor. People coming through door of Palais. Young woman with enormous hair and 'Cleopatra style' eye liner talking about her experiences of the Palais. Man with grey hair and black moustache talking about he escapes from a woman he doesn't want to leave with 'didn't want to get lumbered do ya'. Man with monotone voice talking about going to the Palais to look for a woman without success.
