Alphonse Halimi retains his World Bantamweight boxing title in fight with Peter Keenan in Paris.

LV Alphonse Halimi, the world bantamweight title holder on the attack. Peter Keenan British and Empire bantam champion on left of picture. SV Keenan leads with left, Halimi counters and then Keenan leads with another left, Halimi counters again with a right to the head and then a left as he drives Keenan back across the ring towards the ropes. LV Keenan comes out of clinch and backs towards ropes. SV Keenan on the defence. LV Boxer Peter Keenan in a corner, Halimi comes in on the attack but Keenan forces a clinch. SV Boxers in clinch, Halimi comes in with a right to Keenan's head followed by five more in succession. LV The two boxers come out of the clinch and Keenan rubs his head and kicks Halimi up the pants, Halimi counters with a left to the face and the referee steps in. SV Ref. telling Keenan off. LV Keenan kisses Halimi on forehead and pats him on the back and ref. tells them to start fighting. SV Keenan on defence as Halimi chases after him round the ring and then Keenan tries to force a clinch, Halimi gives a terrific left to head which sends him down but he rises. LV Two boxers starting to mix it again. LV Halimi on the attack, Keenan using the ropes to get away from him, he rebounds off one side of the ring, across onto another set of ropes, and then straight into Halimi with his head down and ref has to break them. SV Break. LV Halimi coming in on attack gives Keenan a left to the face which sends him onto the ropes. SV Keenan now with bad cut over left eye, on the defensive, bell goes for the end of the fight, the two boxers pat one another and go to their corners. LV Two boxers go into their corners. LV Alphonse Halimi in corner having been acclaimed winner on points.
