    Tourists visit Beatty's flagship.

  • Description

Grand national bank holiday crowds visit Admiral Beatty's flagship the 'Queen Elizabeth'. Liverpool, Merseyside.

Holiday crowds in England visit famous warship HMS Queen Elizabeth; shortly after world war one. Tracking shot circling round the big ship with crowds of people swarming all over deck. Past 2 small tourist cruise boats up next to the ship; they bring people to and from the Queen Elizabeth. L/S slightly raised - sailors entertain the holiday crowds - sailors dancing w/ each other on deck; as a crowd watches; standing around them in a circle. Some of the sailor couples are spinning round and round! Some seem quite accomplished; which makes one figure they must be doing this for fun during sea voyages.

    Festive. Entertainment.
