    C/U driver John Surtees before the race. M/S Jim Clark getting into his Lotus car. M/S Graham Hill gets into new V8 BRM car. C/U Bruce McLaren driving a Cooper. C/U Innes Ireland in his Ferrari. C/U couple in crowd.

    M/S cars lined up for the start. Cars shoot forward, pan as they go away from camera. M/S as leaders come into the first bend Copse Corner. L/S as field sweeps round Copse Corner. C/U of men in crowd. M/S cars racing down straight. Panning shot Surtees overtaking Jay Chamberlain in Lotus. Pan as Bruce McLaren in Cooper speeds along the straight. L/S another car coming towards camera, pans off to show two crashed cars lying beside the track. C/U crashed car with right rear wheel almost off (car is Roy Salvadori's Lola), pan to the other car (Tony Shelly's Lotus). Panning shot leader Clark coming out of bend and into straight. Panning shot Clark at speed along straight, close behind is Graham Hill in the BRM. Crowd. Panning L/S as winning cars pass chequered flag.

    L/S crowd applauding. C/U Raymond Mays of BRM being congratulated by friends. Crowd gathered round Hill and Clark on track. C/U Graham Hill and Jim Clark.

    Event took place on 12 May 1962.

    "Innis Ireland" should read Innes ireland.

    "Roy Salvador's Lola" should read Roy Salvadori's Lola.

    "Tony Shelley's Lotus" should read Tony Shelly's Lotus.
