A new type of boat is shown - a water-glider for shallow rivers.
Severn River. A novel water-glider for shallow rivers is presented.
It has an aeroplane engine and a propeller. Two men are on board, one smokes a pipe as he fiddles with the propellor. Two men and a young boy now aboard the same boat but wearing different clothes (waterproof jackets and hats). The boat may be called Bay Leaf II.
Man at the rear pulls the ignition cord to get the boat started. Other man sits in the front - it looks rather like the front of a sports car with small wings either side. The boat moves past the camera. We then see it moving away into the distance on the Severn River. Boat turns around and moves back towards the camera.
Was probably a Pictorial item.
