    Crowds on the streets. Buses going by. Disabled servicemen stand talking. People board a bus. Battered and bomb damaged monument with angel statue on the top and Union Jack flag flying. Family pull cart with their belongings on across the square. Battered Brandenburg Gate. Russian female soldiers direct traffic coming through the Gate with flags. Several good shots of bombed and battered buildings and monuments in Berlin. The city looks pretty devastated. British soldiers climb over a partly ruined monument and sit on a large statue of a man that seems to have fallen from the top. British soldiers lean out of an army truck moving through the city.

    Hurdy Gurdy man (man with music box) in a street. Soldiers and guards look on. Woman sells newspapers to locals. Women and men with umbrellas queue outside a store (Rindu Schweine Schlachterei). High angle shot looking down on two children playing with a pram in a yard. More shots of damaged buildings and factories. People wheel carts carrying their belongings along the street. Women work with shovels to fill in a huge crater or pit in a road. Trams go by. Women and men try to clear rubble from bombed buildings.
