The scene at an airfield is Wenzendorf near Buchholz/Nordheide, Germany. The scene of blasting a bridge over a highway is the Autobahn A1 near Maschen, Germany.

    Note at 0:35 the sign in the background the sign saying "PW Cage" - a PW cage was a temporary field installation designed to hold prisoners of war, pending further evacuation.
