    M/S of a group of German and French officers ( including M. Millerand ) standing by a roadside. Various M/Ss of marching troops - they march past a platform with the French president and other dignitaries on. M/S of a German officer on horseback at the side of the road watching the troops march. As soldiers carrying the Tricolour pass, the German officer salutes.
