M/S group of prisoners, one young German combs his hair. C/U German officer. M/S POWs carrying cases across field, tents in background. More shots POWs - some are laughing, relieved not to be fighting? Some of the POWs are of Oriental origin - could be Mongolian.

    This footage is the work of two separate cameramen.

    From 00:01, the material is shot by Sgt J. H. Johnson, on 22 August 1944.

    From 01:33, the footage is shot by Sgt Gordon, also on 22 August 1944.
