    Fleet excercises. German Fleet reviewed, first time since 1914 - 1924.

    L/S, taken from a small vessel at sea, of a fleet of battleships. Panning shot, taken from the vessel, of one of the battleships with a name plate - Berlin. L/S of the fleet. L/S of the fleet steaming towards the horizon.

    L/S of a steam powered ship passing the camera. L/S of a very large battleship with three funnels sailing past, on the horizon sit three more battleships. L/S of a battleship coming towards the camera, on the horizon are five more battleships.

    Several seconds of white spacing follow.

    High angled shot of sailors, captain and officers standing on the deck of a ship saluting, a smaller boat sails into shot and moors next to the ship, an important looking civilian man climbs up from the boat onto steps at the side of the ship, he enthusiastically shakes the captain's hand, more high ranking Naval officers walk on board behind the important looking man, saluting as they do so. M/S of the important man, the captain and the officers inspecting a troop of sailors standing to attention on deck.
