VS A car draws up and out steps an old man of 72, he is Wilhelm Schreiber who comes to the market to inspect the "eels" for value and he prices them. He is seen walking through market and looking at eels. MS Market porter eating sandwich. VS Elderly woman in her living room feeding a budgerigar in a cage. VS Old Wilhelm pushing pram with eels on through street and sells his eels to the shoppers - he sings as he walks along. MS Wilhelm weighing up some more eels at home before going out to sell eels to the Hamburg night life. VS Neon lit Hamburg street at night. VS He sells his eels to people on the street at night, people buy them and eat them raw. VS Wilhelm pushing his pram home.
