The following notes deal only with the footage from 02:11 onwards......

A slate at the 02:11 timepoint tells us that the footage was shot by Lt Alexander Wedderburn, of the 3264th Signal Service Company. The footage was shot on 7 April, just 2 days after the liberation of Hadamar.

The location is the psychiatric facility at Hadamar, (NS-Totungsanstalt Hadamar), in Germany. Here, many thousands of physically and mentally disabled people were sterilised and/or murdered by the physicians and nurses.

The man seen at 03:12 is chief physician Adolf Wahlmann.

At 03:30 we see nurse Karl Willig.

The footage from 06:14 onwards is shot by a different cameraman, Sgt Moscow, on 7 May 1945. The location is still Hadamar.
