George Carpentier beats Joe Beckett for the European Heavyweight boxing Championship.
Full title reads: "Olympia. Georges Carpentier V Joe Beckett for the Heavy-Weight Championship of Europe".

Boxer Georges Carpentier training in a ring. He does stretching exercises, skipping, the punchball (which he appears to burst), he shadow boxes, punches a hanging ball.
Intertitle reads: "Beckett - first to enter the ring - was greeted with cheers from all parts of the packed house". MS of Joe Beckett climbing into boxing ring and acknowledging crowd.
Intertitle reads: "Carpentier's reception was hardly less cordial". MS of Georges Carpentier climbing into boxing ring and acknowledging the crowd. He goes over to shake hands with his opponent. VS as the boxers prepare for the fight. Slow motion shots as Beckett hits the canvas and the referee moves Carpentier back to his corner.
Intertitle reads: "Georges - quickly followed up with the right - and thus ends the most sensational fight of recent years - a championship of 20 rounds finished in less than 20 seconds!" Shots of Carpentier punching Beckett who falls to the floor. The towel is thrown in by his seconds who come to help him to his feet.
