    King stands in field talking to General Joseph Joffre, in background is an army photographer and a newsreel cameraman. King George arrives somewhere in French staff car, he is greeted by saluting soldiers and French President Raymond Poincare. The King, Poincare, Joffre, General Horne (?) and other officers watch cavalry passing. King meeting French cavalryman on horse.

    King descends from train, followed by Prince Edward (Prince of Wales), they are greeted by Poincare, Joffre, General Henri Petain and General Marie-Emile Fayolle. Group posing outside building with King, Poincare and General / Marshal Ferdinand Foch. King & Poincare watching French troops passing. King and Poincare with Joffre & another general (possibly Foch?) review more troops.

    for your info the review of these troops in 1916 took place in the village of Blincourt not far from Compiègne in the OISE département.
