CU 'I simply say that I can't say that I'm very glad to see you because I can't see you, but I feel instinctively that you are extremely glad to see me. They are always glad to see me in America so now take a good look at me because I am the actual and real original Bernard Shaw. Now how do you like that?'.

CU. 'Ladies and gentlemen, I have just paid a visit to the Grand Canyon and on coming back here I am informed by the gentlemen photographers of this port of San Pedro that they have been waiting four hours for me to say something about the Grand Canyon. Now everybody says something about the Grand Canyon it's the most wonderful spectacle in the world and so on. Well you can get all that out of the guide book and you need not have bothered with me and the only reason that I am talking to you is really when I look at these unfortunate gentlemen who have been waiting for four hours. I haven't got the heart to refuse to say something. I shall not say anything about the Grand Canyon.'
