Salvation Army gives party to poorest London children.
Full title reads: "BOXMOOR".
Children waving through the coaches windows. Coaches driving along the road. Fifteen hundred of London's poorest children spending a day in the country with the Salvation Army. Various shots of the children enjoying fun rides and playing at country fair. Several shots of the children eating lunch in the improvised canteen.
Salvation Army General Evangeline Boot, the organiser of the event, addresses the children. She is talking about her trip around the world, about visiting India and seeing Indian children singing. She starts singing the song the Indian children sang for her and children sing along - "We want everyone to be happy..."
