    Panning shot Margate sea front and harbour. L/S canoeists marching along sea front, the youngest member of the team (Peter Roberts) is carried in a canoe. Various shots Mayor of Margate, Alderman G.A. Kirby, receiving the boys on the promenade, he shakes hands with some of the boys.

    The Margate Canoe Adventure was sponsored by National Association of Boys' Clubs and town of Margate. Some canoes had come all the way from Battersea.
