    CU. The famous lay preacher Father Jaouen talking to camera - no sound. Several shots of the students battling riot police. Various shots at a large open air student meeting outside the Sorbonne University. The students are addressed by leader Daniel "Red" Cohn-Bendit using a hailer. CU. French journalist Maurice Clavel speaking to camera. Two French professors Leprince Ringuet and Kassler speak to the camera. Various shots of a peaceful march by the students chanting and carrying banners. Various good shots at night during a fierce battle between the stone throwing students and baton welding C.R.S. Riot Police. Many are injured and are helped away by comrades through the streets lit from the flames of burning cars and buildings. Various shots in the streets of Paris the morning after the battle showing the wrecked cars, barricades and missiles. Injured wend their weary way home. Some arrested students are seen escorted by the police. CU. Archbishop of Paris Francois Marty speaking to camera. CU. Prime Minister of France Georges Pompidou, shot off the screen during a national television broadcast. More shots of the smashed windows, burned cars and wreckage on the streets.
