What a fantastic clip for me and my family. The clip shows my Grandfather John Smith Hay the trainer in the light suit leading out the greyhounds from the kennels and further my father John Hay leading the parade of greyhounds again in the light suit. Also the last attendant in the dog parade in the dark suit is my fathers brother Francis (Charlie) My Grandfather was responsible for setting up greyhound racing in France with the backing of various members of the British aristocracy. He set up the training facility and track at Saint Germain and was responsible for running the establishment and also the trainer. My Grandmother was responsible for the breeding and welfare of the young hounds. My father assisted in the training along with his younger brothers and sisters. This clip has brought me such delight. I also have a couple of pictures from their time in France.
    Thank you.
