According to paperwork this is a much longer version of items 684.04 and 930.07. It may include cuts not found elsewhere. This version is probably best quality. Lindbergh material from 1927 is in quite a muddle so best to view everything for best shots.

Le Bourget, Paris

Cars arrive outside a building and then the US flag is seen in front of a window. M/S street scene with police and crowds.

'Spirit of St. Louis - Lindbergh stands in front of the plane . M/S plane nose on - crowds around, followed by side shots of the propeller in motion. Lindbergh nods and poses for the camera.

L/S as crowds press forward in street - dark shots - night - people running (could be war or some kind of flight from danger) a mass of people are seen - picked up in beams of a search light - a man climbs a pole.

Various shots of huge crowds in spotlights at night outside Lindbergh's house (?), various shots as he waves to them from the balcony. L/S aerial of airfield. M/S of people and photographers in daylight outside his house. Various shots as people stand on the roof of a buffet to get a better view. People mill about and an aeroplane flies overhead. Various shots of Charles Lindbergh on balcony, he is joined by others and smiles and waves. Someone brings out a French flag which he waves.

M/S as he comes out of the building and down the steps with the others. M/S of them posing on the steps and giving him three cheers. C/U of him smiling at the camera, he stands on the steps and looks around. M/S as photographers take his picture. Good C/U of him. M/S as a huge arrangement of flowers is brought to the gate of his house, people crowd around outside. M/S of his aeroplane the 'Spirit of St. Louis' behind a fence. Various shots of the aeroplane.
