The brigade is made up of motorcycle units and a few light bren gun carriers. Local people waves as the convoy of motorcycle and sidecar combinations ride through the village.

    After researching my Grandads WW2 Battalion War diaries, I think this could be his Battalion. The entry for the 20th March 1940 was "Whole Battalion employed in demonstration for Cinema propaganda, ground difficult owing to rain. "

    The Battalion is the 4th Battalion of the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers.
