The man receiving his Victoria Cross at 00:26 is Agansing Rai, (mentioned in the commentary, and spelling checked online).
"He presents one posthumously to the young girl betrothed to one of the dead soldiers" - this was the medal for the late Netra Bahadur Thapa, (again, mentioned in the commentary, and spelling checked).
