• Short Summary

Good shots of a speedboat on the water and comments from its designer and driver.

  • Description

Speedboating scenes of the Non-Sequitur XI - its driver and designer talk about the boat.

Full title reads: "The Welsh Harp. For the only speed record we don't possess! Mr C. Harrison in Mr J. W. Shellan's 'Non-Sequitur XI', touches 60 mph - nearly 3 miles above record - in trials before leaving for Miami."

    The Welsh Harp, Hendon, London.

Various Shots of man driving powerful one man speedboat on water. He sends the boat in various directions and is going at considerable speed. The boat has the number K754 on the side along with a small Union Jack flag painted on. The driver is wearing a life jacket and smooth hat, similar to a flying helmet. The camera is obviously on another boat and runs along side the "Non Sequitur XI" at some points.

Mr Shellan talking to camera standing on jetty. He introduces Mr Charles Harrison, the driver, who is sitting in the boat at the side of the jetty. A mechanic is holding the boat in place. Harrison and Shellan talk about how the boat is going - "very smooth and very fast". Shellan wishes him good luck.
