MacDonald and speaker come out of the building. They walk back to the stage. The crowd applaud.

Mr MacDonald makes a speech (SOF) "My friends it has been a great honour to be allowed to do what I have done today. I'll carry this key away with me as a memory of you all. As a memory of those very tasteful houses that have been built to receive some of you in your old age." (Ramsay MacDonald's Scottish accent is clearly audible.)

Halfway through the speech the visuals cut to view of the small row of attractive bungalows.
