• Short Summary

Farmer Mr Prentice flies to a business appointment in his Auster plane.

  • Description

    Titles read: "FLYING FARMER".

    Ipswich, Suffolk.

Farmer Mr Prentice leaves his country house, saying goodbye to his wife and daughter. He walks over to his Auster plane in a field and prepares it for a flight. His dog jumps into the passenger seat. Mr Prentice takes off.

Aerial views as we fly over the countryside. Brief shot of Mr Prentice at the controls. He lands in a field behind a haystack and meets up with a waiting business acquaintance. They walk over to the haystack, sniff the hay and discuss the size and price. Mr Prentice writes out a cheque and shakes hands with the man. Quick shot of the plane flying away (not towing the haystack).
