• Short Summary

Mrs Harcourt-Freeman makes ornamental flowers from sea shells in her Eton studio.

  • Description

Titles read: 'FLOWERS FROM THE SEA!'

    Eton, Berkshire.

Various shots of a middle-aged woman called Mrs Margaret Harcourt-Freeman making a flower out of several seashells in her studio. Commentator tells us she is the pioneer of this new and attractive expression of art and has several ex-servicemen working for her.

Mrs Harcourt-Freeman paints the finished flower shape.

We see several finished flowers that she made earlier. We also see a little model of a peacock and a recreation of the Prince of Wales crest, both made entirely from seashells.
