Nurse from Leeds makes flower models from bread dough.
Part of issue ONE FOR THE ROAD.
Pathe Studios, London.
Miss Adams, a nurse from Leeds, Yorkshire, makes delicate model flowers from bread. She soaks the bread in water and squashes it into dough. She then rolls out the door into thin sheet. She fashions tiny roses from dough which are baked in oven to harden and then painted. We see some of the finished flowers displayed in baskets with wire stems and leaves.
