Commander Byrd returns from his trip to the South Pole. Parades and celebrations. A woman wins shooting competition at Bisley - Mrs Muriel Foster. She is carried through the streets sitting in a chair (this is a tradition for the winner of the King's Prize). Sequence showing R 101 in flight then shots of the wreckage. The liner Empress of Scotland - is seen on fire. The Prince of Wales and Duke of Kent are seen in Buenos Aires. Large crowds are there to greet them.
Around the World Flight - aviators are Harold Gatty and Wiley Post. Gandhi arrives somewhere by plane. Sir Thomas Lipton . Lindbergh baby? Opening of Sydney Bridge, Australia - man on horseback is apprehended as he slashes ribbon. High Mass in the open air in Ireland. De Valera is present.
Various transport stunts. Air balloon landed on snow (?) Man jumps from a bridge with wings attached in an attempt to fly. Aircraft takes off from the roof of a travelling car. Man jumps from aircraft to car roof. Plane crashes into a wooden building (stunt). Rocket firing on a beach. End of prohibition. Crowds in the street, police on horses control the crowd.
