Prince of Wales is given French military honour on visiting France's Sandhurst.
Full title missing, according to issue sheet it reads: "'First class soldier of St. Cyr and member of first platoon of France's first Battalion' signal honour conferred on the Prince of Wales during visit to France's Sandhurst".
M/S of Prince Edward, the Prince of Wales and Edouard Herriot (French cabinet minister) walking past crowds, most shelter under umbrellas.
