M/S of a man wheeling a barrow past a row of wooden huts separated by blast screens - a fireworks factory. He takes a casket of gun powder from the barrow and takes it into one of the huts to factory worker, Taffy Davis. Various C/Us of Taffy assembling Roman Candles.

Outside the huts, two men are wheeling a barrow covered in different fireworks. One of the men takes some of the fireworks to a field to test. He packs a large firework in sand and lights it. He steps back and times how long the firework lasts with a stop watch.
