Footage of man with missing fingers playing piano with new device.

  • Description

    Australia (?).

Titles read: "FINGERLESS PIANIST - Here's a really novel idea from 'down under' invented by an ingenious fellow who lost his fingers."

M/S of two men at piano. One man plays briefly. The other man leans against piano, he clearly has a numerous fingers missing from his left hand. He tells the man that he can play a bit himself. The sat down one looks quite surprised given the state of his hand. The man pulls out a metal tube with prongs on it. He sits down and plays a piece of music with the aid of the device which he simply holds in hands whilst the prongs hit the correct keys.

The song played by the man's contraption is "The Stars and Stripes Forever" by Sousa.
