  • Description

British Instructional Films Ltd presents a Classroom Film.

This seems to be a cinematic guessing game for schoolchildren.

    i) A tank has trouble climbing up a snowy hill. The tank passes through a river and is seen towing another vehicle. ii) A tram travels through a street -in London and across Westminster Bridge. It is a number 62 tram, it has adverts for Ty-Phoo tea and National Savings on the side. iii) A freight train is seen from a high angle travelling along train tracks. iv) a motor racing car travels at speed down country lanes. Spectators line the route. v) Rolls Royce (old one!) being driven along a majestic drive - possibly in front of Buckingham Palace. vi) Soldiers ride on and walk alongside carts pulled by water buffaloes. vii) View of a horse's head as it pulls a large vehicle along a city street. Shots of the horse as vehicle brought to a standstill. viii) Trotting race. Men ride behind trotting horses in low slung carriages. All fairly short shots.
