    Ned E. Depinet, president of Council of Motion Picture Organisations speaks into microphone (natural sound). He makes a patriotic pledge of loyalty to American government on behalf of everyone in film industry. He promises that the industry will do everything in its power to boost national morale.

    Truman replies by thanking the film industry for their loyalty. He says of the film industry; "there's no organisation in the whole world that can make a better contribution to truth".
