A woman visits Elstree Studios, Hertfordshire for a behind the scenes tour. She visits the wardrobe department and watches blonde starlet Shane Cordell trying on glamorous dress. Film star David Niven is seen on set of the film "Silken Affair". The woman watches cast and crew in action from a seat next to the director Roy Kellino. The commentary is by the woman herself. She then watches Shane having her hair done.
Presenter Peter Noble speaks to camera, introducing an American singer Diana Decker.

Actor Terence Morgan is interviewed by MacDonald Hobley about his career and future. He talks of his part in film "It's a Wonderful World" with George Cole. Interview is very staged and stilted, takes place on studio set.
